Honda AC parts question
I have a 1990 honda civic hatchback that I need to replace the AC compressor on. It has the factory motor in it, but I am wondering if all D series AC compressors will work or if I need one specifically made for the year of my car?

The 88-91 civic/crx definately have different compressors and I'm pretty sure the 92-95 civic and 96-00 civic have different compressors too.
BatEclipse99, there were two different AC compressor for your civic. You need to find out which one you have by looking at these two ebay auctions:

There are differences in the compressors however I believe the bolt pattern and the alignment for the belt is the same. That's for 92-00 Civic though.
