Default HID Help!

My GF has a 2007 Dodge Caliber and I bought an HID kit for it. It's H13/9008 bi-xenon teloscopic. The problem is that the lights work fine high and low beam when the car is off, but when the car is on, the lights stay on 5 seconds and then flicker and shut off. I double checked the wireing and IDK. I heard there is a quick fix for it anyone know? Thanks.

One of the metal ballasts(metal box) might need to be grounded, was happending to me too. Is it both headlights or just one? If its both than it might not just be a ground, and a prob with your kit.

Yeah it happens to both ballasts. Weird thing is, is that it doesn't happen when the car is off.
