Default (Here comes the jokes) Seat belt question.

I am installing rear seat belts in my eg hatch. For some reason i can't get the seat belt to extract from the box. Anyone have any tips? Or maybe have come across this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Mine did this before. I pushed the belt back inside the box. feed it with a screw driver. Then pulled on the belt and it came right out. Maybe it will work for you. GL

There should be a release in the seat belt mechanism. It's a little metal bar that goes across.

Try tilting the whole reel mechanism. I have no idea if I'm full of crap or not, but my Subaru seatbelts only seem to work when tilted certain directions. I should take one apart and satisfy my curiosity.
