HELP GSR header fitment issues
I have a 95 GSR swap in my 95 civic, and I'm looking into purchasing after-market headers(ebay) but all of them have 2.5in collectors. My question is how would I make this fit to my catalytic converter??
Would I have to cut & weld or just by a converter with a larger inlet?

Re: HELP GSR header fitment issues
NO stock honda Cats have 2 inch inlet and outlet flanges....also if your buying a GSR header you'll need to take into account that they are 4 inches shorter that non GSR headers......so ur best bet is to buy a high flow cat cheap from anywhere(make sure its not a test pipe and State Legal) that is 2.5 inch in and out and take it up to a meineke or somthin and have they fit and weld ...i think the weld well cost u like $50 bucks and a high flow cat is about $100 ...honda civic cats are very restrictive anyways (dont forget about O2 sensor placement

Re: HELP GSR header fitment issues
C-WAKE, I measure my cat today and it measured out to be 2.5 inches so i'm hoping the 2.5in Header I bought will bolt up to it. I bought the header for 99-01 GSR which are longer than the 94-98/99 so it'll bolt right in to my cat. THANKS!
pnoise_dc: THANKS! but I just bought some headers and a full cat back earlier today.
