can someone tell me if ill pass inspection with the srs light on, and if i cant pass how can i reset it, its a 1996 eclipse

no u will not, srs = airbag. i actually have a srs sensor that i purchased for the same reason but never actually used it if your interested.

no you wont pass and take the bulb out so its not lit up anymore

Also, depending on what car you have you can get a JDM guage cluster and just install that because most of them don't have a SRS light on them. I know mine didnt on my Teg and my EG

You reset it by fixing the problem. The SRS system does a self check on power up and throws a fault if there is a problem. It isn't like an OBD2 ECU where the codes will be stored.

and taking the bulb out wont fly unless its a lazy ass inspector...cause the srs light will not probe out when the key is turned on....it is supposed to fail

if its throwing out any codes you can just go to auto zone and see if you can borrow a scanner and delete the codes yourself...temporarly that is..
