I just bought a 97 H22A4, just the engine. I was wondering is it possible to use the crank from a F23 VTEC or an H23 non-VTEC. Also I am planning on putting this in my 93 Accord, which now has the F23 in it. Will this engine fit my car (is it the same as older H22's)? and what transmission will bolt up to it...btw my car is an auto . Right now I have the F23 VTEC and stock F23 auto tranny. Can I use the F23 tranny? any other H-series tranny?

well, i dont think you can use the crank. But ask dakwon(sp?) about hte f22 tranny. I think he still runs in his 5th gen prelude.
