Headunit shut off randomly

Went to start my honda, and everything light up fine on the dash but my kenwood head unit didnt turn on. Battery is juiced up fine though, would this problem be a blown fuse? Maybe the wiring harness...if any one knows post please im not that experienced with car audio!

aight, ill do that after school tommorow, but how would i know if a fuse is bad? Should i hit up the store and buy the exact same size fuse, then switch them out?

you likely used the wrong red wire for power. did you use a wiring harness adapter or did you cut and splice wires?

The head unit was put in by the fella before me that had this honda. I probably should of cleared that up haha. Well I want to say he used a wiring harness becasue when i pulled it out it was connected through the 2 harnesses in the back of the kenwood unit.

How do you check a fuse? On the back side of it, the side you see, the metal will be broken apart or in a really bad case the fuse will be melted. Its usually right on the back of the stereo. Had this happen on my HU awhile back.
