Head Questions!!
Ok here is my problem .. have 95 dx w/ d15b7 ... put a z6 head on it .. blew the block ... my buddy got me a d15b "jdm" block ... put everything together and runs fine .. only problem is vtec doesnt hit hard at all and after like 5.5 or 6 grand it feels lacking of power .. im running a p28 automatic ecu and yes i have vtec wired right and the solinoid is good ... only reason i feel im lacking is cuz he has the "jdm" d15b complete and walks me and his feels so much more powerful all the way up to 7200.
btw- i have the stock dx long gear tranny on there but i have an si trans .. will that help also??
ANY IDEAS OR THOUGHTS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!!! THANKS ALOT!

Re: Head Questions!!
yeah if he had a ex/si tranny he should walk you.
but if you are saying everythign is wired up perfect on your car then what are you asking about the vtec not hitting hard...they either engauge or dont. you said its wired pefect so it has to be working. and you running a stock auto ecu on a 5spd?? that could be half ya problem right there...if there is one...The tranny will make a HUGE difference...more than any cam or intake manifold would do. I had to use a DX tranny for a week one time when i was rebuilding my ex/si..... i was hittin 80mph in 2nd gear....lol...shit killed the power big time.
