Default h23 block

hey everyone i was wondering if it will make any difference in power if i use a h23a block with all the h23 internals with a h22a head on it or if i should just switch all the internals from a h22a block to a h23a block i cant use the h22a block cus it has a big chunk taken out of it. What should i do? Also i think i am pretty sure but if i did use the h23a block with all the internals it will bolt right up to the head right?

you cant use h23 internals on an h22 block or h22 internals in an h23 block.

and no, the h22 head will not bolt right up to the h23 block. there are some coolant issues i believe.

www.honda-tech.com do some research.

U can transfer the whole bottom end from the h22 block to the h23 no problem the casting is the exact same the only difference in it is the h22 has oil squirters and h23 does not.

And the head will bolt up all you have to do is take the oil orfice out of the block between cylinder 2 & 3
