h22 tranny in a 1990 accord
 
what modifications need to be made to get a h22 or h23 tranny to work in a automatic 1990 accord thats being modified to a 5speed cause i heard something about theres a mount problem for the tranny anybody that answer that for me?

ya you have to use the accord tranny mount, but you have to tap the other holes on the tranny once you have the h22 tranny you'll see what i mean... there is 2 sets of holes

ight thanks do u think that's not bad to do urself or would just let a shop do it?

you can buy a tap/die set from almost anywhere. fairly easy diy job. just take your time and use a light oil when doing it.

^ yep and if you have never tapped anything and would rather someone do it who knows what they are doing im a machinist and once it out of the car... 30$ 10bucks a hole lmk

totally agree if ya never done before let a shop do it but its not too much work did it to a friends 91 accord and ran awesome gl with this
