Re: h22 swap in crx
no u can turn it u just cant autocross it get the springs that take the heavy motor weight and u will be fine but yeah it would be a better straightline car not great for the twisties.placeracing .com will do the trick for ur mounts and check hasport.com for a premade wiring harness. those are ur best bets and i heard 800 labor 2600 for half cut plus 600 for mounts 225 for linkage bet on another 500 for shit to break and go wrong ur also looking at 385 for springs and shocks to take the weight of the motor. get an si they are much easyier to wire up the set up and talk to tuners edge for more details. that would be ur best bet.

Re: h22 swap in crx
people need to quit fucking shooting info out that they havent double checked on and overheard. the biggest fucking myth is that the h22a is "OMG SO HEAVY DUDE YOU WONT TURN JUST SLIDE OUT DONT GET IT!!!1!!1". this is the biggest load of shit. the main reason you have problems turning/autox'ing an h22a powered vehicle is the understeer from all the power the motor makes down low in the powerband, as well as the face that the weight is positioned slightly diff. in the engine bay. however, with a good suspension setup, an h22a powered car can handle as good as most any other hatch or coupe or crx out there. i've talked to a couple people with the swap and they said they didnt have any huge turning problems.
dont believe what i said about the weight?
