H22 with ac in dc2
Year:1994
Make:Acura
Modle:Integra
Mods: h22 swap, I,H,E, chipped p28
Problem: I have just got ac to work on my h swapped dc2. The only problem I'm having. It keeps wanting to stall out with head lights on and the ac running. Other then that every thing is working great. Any ideas??
Extra: I'm also looking to fab up some more ac kits. So If you would want ac back in your H-swapped car. Let me know. Also can help Gide you, and tell you what you need, to make it happen.

You know ill have to check that tomorrow when I get to work. Or maybe I'll be lazy and get autozone or advanced to do it for me for free. Good thought, thanks reloaded

What RPM do you have the idle set to?Is the IACV circuit functioning correctly?
The AC system doesn't put any large draw on the charging system. The engine speed dropping is due to the compressor clutch locking up,and adding the load of turning the compressor on the engine. If the IACV isn't working correctly to supply additional air to the engine(the headlights are increasing the alternator load,so the engine is already requiring additional air when they're on)it could cause it to stall. If the static idle is set too low,the engine could be idling too low to recover from the temporary drop caused by the AC coming on before the IACV can compensate. It could also be the IACV is having to supply too much air to maintain the idle already and runs out of capacity once the load gets higher.
Also, will you be providing an installation Gide with these AC kits?

Yes if I get enough people wanting the kit. I will have instructions for installation. Found out the problem for the stalling issues. The battery terminals were loose. No more problems, and AC blows 50 degrees on a 100 degree day.
