Re: GSR swap help.
Who has posted incorrect info? A STOCK P28 is not going to run a GSR motor. PERIOD. Now if you got it chipped for chrome or some tuning software and got the maps correct for a GSR then it would work. You might want to get your ECU correct before you blow up your motor.

Re: GSR swap help.
Ok i recently bought and swapped a 99obd2 gsr motor and put it in my 93 civic using and obd1 gsr harness and obd1 STOCK ecu.
Here are the problems I am having.
1. I do not know how to hook up the IAB box (keep in mind I have a aftermarket fpr on the fuel rail).
2. I have a plug near both of the strut towers that dont connect to anyhting. One on the drivers side is green and is closer to the IM than the strut tower but you get the point.
3. Now for some reason on my bone stock obd1 gsr ecu vtec is kicking in around 42-4500 and i feel like i have no power compared to my obd1 gsr motor i had previously and this new motor has headwork so it shoudl feel as good if not better.
4. Other than that the car is driving excellent....oh and i have a 94gsr tranny on the new 99 motor doubt that matters though..
5.I have a tuned ecu thats tuned for a obd1 gsr boosted on 9lbs...can i use that ecu on my stock motor if not why? what problems will it cause other than maxing out the injectors?
thanks!

I don't know why you are giving me such a hard time. All I am trying to do to help you out.

Re: GSR swap help.
im not giving you a hard time i just thought you were saying that you cant use a p28 ecu b/c its only for a single cam but yes mine is chipped and i didnt mean to type stock...but again i need to know dimensions of both the long starter bolt and the 2 bolts for the rear mont to the tranny

23 90165-ST7-000 BOLT, FLANGE (14X67) 2 2000 INTEGRA 7.26 5.28
i believe this is what you are looking for... the bolt that it came with from honda
-with mine i had to cut the bottom bolt in half and then shrink it's diameter where it doesnt' have threads so that id didn't strip my tranny threads
but that is also because i have a different bracket than the stock GSR on because mine is in a 90si
so if you have the stock bracket then you are fine
