Is your replacement pan used? damaged?
Should be straightforward.

try to replace it yourself. It could be they sent out the wrong one to you. But I would try to put it on myself and see why it doesnt fit

Not sure about aftermarket parts, but oem GSR oil pans are stamped 'P72.'
If you were given an ls/b16 oil pan in error, it wouldn't fit.
Is it possible for you to compare the two side by side?

If it was an ls/b16 it would bolt up and still work but the pickup would sit higher. (IIRC)

Shop is jewin' you.

The B16/LS oil pan doesn't clear the GSR's girdle/windage screen. The pick-up lengths are different for the same reason.
