Unless its a wide band all you're going to get is a strobe light of color. Most a/f gauges just hook into the factory 1 volt o2 sensor and can't give an accurate reading. They just cycle back and forth when you have a nice a/f mixture, and only hold steady if you're running pig rich or dangerously lean. If you want looks, hook it up to ur hot/ground and signal wires. If you want something to tune a car with, look into a wide band 5 volt o2 sensor or EGT gauge (pyrometer).

Wow... have you looked at a Narrowband GReddy p/w/h meter lately? Tell me where the strobe of light comes from. GReddy meters hold steady at WOT and they come with thier own O2 sensor.
Qurz: I have the manual, and I could scan it for you, but I find it very hard to believe you cannot find it by searching on the internet.

Not familiar w/the Greddy set up. I've just seen enough cars around w/the sweeping lights on a/f gauges that give no actual info worth having. I may be mistaken, worse things have happened.

Man ive looked every where for it on the internet, i would really like for you to scan it for me, or if you know where i can find the manual online please send me a link. as for the greddy gauges, its not a cheap wire splice gauge that read off the stock 02 sensor. I have it reading almost perfect right now, its off alittle and would like it to be more accurate for street tuning. Thanks.

I honestly would not tune off of the GReddy O2. Use it as a ballpark reading, but don't tune from it. Use a wideband for that. (Granted, the GReddy is probably the best NB O2 gauge.)
I will scan the manual and host the pictures in this thread later on tonight for a period of 24 hours.

Yeah, i do tune with a wideband on the dyno but i have a exhaust cutout, and the wide band is stuck in the tail pipe. So it really isnt reading corect with the cutout open. Ball park figure is what i am looking for. Thanks again for scaning the manual.
