Chipped GSR ECU. P72 I believe. Get a obd-1 conversion harness, it allow's more tuning option's available and more people can help you get the best out of your ECU with obd-1.

What are you looking to get out of it. A chipped p28 (obd1 civic ex ecu) is a good ecu for a b16. Is there anything wrong with your's, I would just stick with the stock ecu til you actually need to upgrade.

If you have a OBD0 B16, stick with the PW0. The PR3 is the same ECU, they just have different numbers from different chassis. It's the best ECU you can get for an OBD0 B16, and there is no reason to convert to OBD1. You won't gain anything in performance at all. The PR3/PW0 are actually strange ECUs that are almost identical to OBD1 ECUs and hardly anything like OBD0. If anything, get your PW0 chipped and tuned. A P72 is the worst idea, you have to have it chipped and have the IAB (secondary butterfly) control disabled, and if you use a P28 you won't have knock sensor capability. If for whatever reason you get talked into converting to OBD1, go with a P30 ECU or (OBD1) PR3. They're the same ECU, just different numbers.

it sounds like i need to have my ecu chipped. the problem i'm having is that the redline is at 7200 rpm, when i would like it to be around 8200 rpm. any suggestions on where to have it chipped or should i do it myself. i am an avid electrician
