not a loose ground but a short to ground somewhere. Symptoms of a loose ground is it may work intermittently or with some kind of bump to the unit. Short to ground means there is a positive lead somewhere that is touching ground where it should not thus, consistently blowing fuses. Like greenciv05 said you are possibly pinching a wire.Re-check your wiring.

pinching means a negative maybe touching a postive somewhere? when i put the head unit in i dont think i messed with any wires that had to do with the switch or cluster

do your head lights work but no corners ?
i had the same problem sorda, but my rear light bulb was burn out and it kept popping the fuse for the tail lights,instrument panel, and corner light.
