Default fuel pumps

ok my question is what fuel pumps are you guys using? i'm looking at getting an aftermarket high output pump and i was just wondering what size pumps most are using? 190lph or 255lph?

so far i have been FAIRLY lucky with my nitrous usage. i did have a little situation that made my fuel pressure regulator hose to blow off. well that caused me to burn a valve. fixed that. now all of my hoses have zip ties to try and avoid that.

i have a little d16y8 motor with dc headers, msd 6a with a blaster ss coil, h22 injectors(290cc), h22 throttle body(62mm), adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and best of all a dry zex kit jetted at 75hp.

now i know that i'm pushing my limits with the stock pump. i'm pretty sure that ill be getting a 255lph pump. i really just wanted a few opinions on the subject or maybe what everyone else seems to be having good luck with.

i plan on changing to a larger "shot" and i i just want a little insurance!
like maybe a 85-10 shot who knows?

oh yeah....i do also have a clutch masters stage 3 clutch and a clutchmasters aluminum flywheel.

thanks guys

i have a walbro 255 , its going lean on me up top but not from me, the fuel pump is 4 years old and has been used on a 440 hp drag car for a long time, and it actually fixed itself or something because im not going lean anymore, its weird, i like the pump, its just a little loud, but thats gonna happen with a high output/pressure fuel pump.........

with 290cc injectors the 190 will get you by, but if future upgrades are planned, you might as well get the walbro 255, most of the nissan community running SR motors use them, i've never heard anything bad about them, and for the price, you can't beat it

Any fuel pump out there that's a 255lph is just a re-badged Walbro (haven't seen different so far). That pump is good up to around 500whp.

i say go with the 255, you should be able to tune in your AFPR to compensate for the high flow.
