Well its obviously the wiring or the fuel pump. Tap in the wires and check it with a multi-meter with the key set to the "on" position. If its not getting 12 volts or what ever its supposed to have, then theres your problem. If it is getting power, then its your pump

Could be the fuel pump fuse, could be the wiring, could be the fuel pump. Most aftermarket fuel pumps aren't really known for their quality or reliability, but it's easy enough to find out what's going on when the pump won't prime.

how about glancing over what you typed before clicking the submit button

no tech for you!

daammmiit, whatt0hell = There were a run of "fake" Walbro's a few years ago in the market. If you do some googling rather than expect a spoonfeeding of answers, you might find out more.

Didnt think there was a fuel pump fuse, and if there was, I dont see it causing an intermittent issue.

I would replace the main relay first, and if that doesnt fix things, the fuel pump. These two items are more likely the culprit rather than the wiring.

If it was an OEM fuel pump and never messed with, I would probably agree with that. However, it's an aftermarket fuel pump and it had to be installed somehow. Therefore, I don't necessarily trust the condition of the wiring any more than anything else.

Hopefully it won't leave you stranded somewhere. It's a lot harder to troubleshoot intermittent problems if you can't replicate the conditions, so you'll have to figure out how you want to attack it.

Check the connectors at the pump, from what I have seen most people are not good with crimping eyelets on wires. They don't crimp them tight enough and then it causes problems like that. But check the wiring and personally I solder all connections, meaning if I have to use spade or eyelets anywhere I crimp then solder. But this all depends on how the pump is designed. First pull the pump out and make sure no wires are loose. Or whoever put the pump in decided to run new wires and didn't make good connections.
