Fuel gauge

Ok, had this problem ever since I bought my car. I JUST filled up my gas tank and the needle doesn't go all the way to "F". Anyone know what the problem is? And heres a pic of the gauge after I filled up.

Sounds like a tank sending unit to me...

or the needle has been removed and not put back on correctly, try moving the needle up to full and seeing if it goes down as u burn gas

ditto... I agree with the others that the needle was put back wrong
