Actually, I know what the problem is, I just don't know why it's doing it.
The circled part is hitting the front of the bezel, in turn pushing the whole console, making it creek. The center console isn't in the "best" condition, but I think that's the problem, or the fact that my transmission is horrible and the shifter shouldn't be going as far forward as it is.

Seems like you might need a different shifter then, or at least a different handle. I've run the Pro 5.0 and Ripper with no problems on a Foxbody, did experience something similar with the Tri-Ax. If you've got the money to spend on a new one, get the MGW with the orange handle. It is by far the best shifter out there. Nice and quiet, very short shift and you won't have the problems with it hitting.

That actually isn't the shifter I'm running, I still have the stock one installed, I was just using it as an example, but I will look into the new shifter. Thanks for the input.
