Ford man needs Honda help!
Im a die hard Ford fan, but I recently got a mildly wrecked 96 civic coupe with a d16y8. My questions is I am looking to swap my perfectly working drive train into a diffrent shell (not the 1996-200? bodystyle) possibly older like CRX. So if I have the complete car what all do I need? Prolly sounds stupid but ive just been doing 460, 351, and 302 swaps with carbs no computer VTEC ect needed.
Basically
1. What model would be the easiest swap for my drive train? (dont care about creature features)
2. What would my shell be worth afterwards (needing hood and driver fender)
3. Is a swap worth it or should I just drive this car like i have the past 15K wrecked until it blows?
Sorry if this post sounds crazy, but like I said the Honda world is new to me, but I am tired of getting 3-5MPG out of a "daily driver"

Re: Ford man needs Honda help!
1. In my opinion.. I would say an early 90's hatch.
2. Not very much.. you could part out what's left and maybe make a few hundred dollars.
3. If you really don't care, and are doing a motor/shell swap using the same old motor, I would say just keep DD'ing like it is.

Ok, stop with the bullshit. I left the previous two posts open for a reason, the rest of the posts got scrubbed. Keep it on track.
