Default focus headers

my friend has a '01 ford focus and he cant find a set of headers for it, aparently hes looked and they dont make a set for them at all from what i understand, they only make a set for the zx3 and his isnt a zx3 its the SPI and the headers dont line up perfect, he found a post about it in a forum http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...d.php?t=135097 and how to modify them to fit. the question is do they really make a set that fits(he said hes searched and hasnt been able to find ANYTHING), should he mod. the zx3 headers or just get a set made? keeping in mind he doesnt have an unlimitied amount of money what would produce good quality and performance?
also any information about places that could make headers or mod. them and prices numbers anything would be helpful or a place that actually sells headers made for the SPI
thanks in advance for the help

yes, a couple companies have made an aftermarket HEADER (it's an inline engine not a V - only one header) for the SPI engine.
They aren't very common b/c there isn't a very big demand.

I think what you're trying to say is that companies only make headers for engines that are worth modifying.

So inline engines that have more than one header (some inline 6 cyl) still only have a header, not headers? That's odd.

"Headers" is still fine to use. If you're looking for one, it's a header. If it's a company, and they make more than one, ever, they make headers. If you work at a car dealership, you sell cars, you don't sell car, even though you sell one car at a time. I really don't care, but your argument is weak and you're being an ass.

do you have any information on where to get a HEADER that fits?as far as that statement, i agree that it isnt a common motor to tune so parts like that will be hard to come by but as far as it being worth modifying i kinda agree because its not something that i would tune but i mean its not my car or my decision, hes just working with what hes got...
