flipping 2 piece wheels inside out?
what difference does it make, compared to running a spacer like i do anyways
any insight, or proof, of someone flipping a 2 piece wheel inside out and safley using it?
it would be sick to try... i have 2 piece wheels... but it would be stupid to damage them because of that

Re: flipping 2 piece wheels inside out?
its easy and safe, it goes like this,
1. unbolt plate from barrel
2. flip barrel over.
3. bolt plate back to barrel
4. install long 90degree valve stem so that you can put air in tire with out taking the wheel of the car
we used to do it all the time on okinawa.
as a matter of fact i have a recent issue of drift tengoku and they are doing it in that as well

wish i knew too. i had the hardest time getting a straight answer.
generally it seems not very tight though.
i think i may use some threadlock for piece of mind.

Re: flipping 2 piece wheels inside out?
I think Volk/Rays says 45-50 lbft with Loctite if I remember. The torque spec will change if you don't use Loctite.
And while we're on the subject, you don't want the strongest threadlocker, because you'll shear the nut or bolt head off before they come apart. You just want a standard small fastener threadlocker.
Those definitely look like 3 piece wheels, not two piece. At least that's what the bead of reddish colored sealant in the picture is telling me.
