Default FITTING INTERCOOLER

Need to cut out my grill to fit this intercooler. Question being...What should i use to cut out my grill. I have a 97 front bumper, and would like to keep the center piece, but want to cut out all the vertical inserts.

Use a hacksaw with a fairly coarse blade, or a pneumatic body saw with a fairly coarse blade. A fine blade cuts too slow, and generates too much heat.

Leave some extra material so you can sand/file/shave/cut/whatever down to where you actually want to be, it will look a lot cleaner that way.

This is exactly how I did it and it worked out very nicely with the hacksaw, and as stated leave some for you to file down to get a nice smooth edge where you want it.
