Firewall Grommets...
Found some info and wanted to share
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...3at70421PM.png http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...3at70428PM.png Normally find them in stock at: http://www.hondapartsnow.com/interio...a~grommet.html Just search and order, good information for someone shaving the firewall that does not have the time and tools to weld it right away but still want a temporary (or permanent) solution that looks clean Enjoy |
Re: Firewall Grommets...

Re: Firewall Grommets...
Thank a lot I have been looking for these

Re: Firewall Grommets...
Wish I would have went with this instead of welding the holes closed. Like the looks of it a lot
|
Re: Firewall Grommets...
I think if you weld them all shut you should still just plug these holes and get a larger piece to flatten it all out and make it smooth instead of patching each one

As far as that goes, the OEM stuff is nice for the oblong holes like the A/C or harness holes, but for regular 3/4",1" or whatever size round holes, any hardware store will have grommets for probably 1/10th the price, and with no wait. |
