F20b info
wanting to drop a f20b into my accord [ 1994 ]. The issue is however that i can only find automatic long-blocks. I've looked and looked , checked most of the reputable distributors online and just cannot find one. I know , the H22 is a better base to start with , however how many F20b's have you seen?
F20b1 came automatic , b2 came in the SIR-T and is the manual version, both motors are OBdII and that would be a legit swap into a obd1 car [ as would a obd1 motor but whatever , remember...differant ..lol ] you wont see 1 or 2 on the end of the engine code on the block though.
My first question is , can the automatic longblock be mated to a 5 speed tranny ? [ bell-house , clutch etc etc] Second , can i run a H22 ECU? Final question being , can i find this thing in a manual anywhere???!
i appreciate any helpful answers you can give.

Re: F20b info
yes a manual tranny will fit on an automatic longblock. and no it is never a good idea to run a engine with the wrong ecu, unless its chipped and properly tuned
