Default External Wastegate Help

Ok, so a couple weeks ago my WG blew off my manifold, I bought a new one ( manifold ), etc. Of course after blowing off the manifold, I had to take off the old piece of the flange, and now I'm stuck with this:

That ring does need to be compressed into the WG correct? I tried using a quick clamp just to see if I could get it in there a bit and it really didn't do anything. Suggestions?

Thats the fire ring.

I just put it on there like you have it, and tighen'd it on the manifold.

I have no leaks, and I don't even have that gasket.(between manifold and wastegate.)

For what it's worth, I have a Tial 38mm.

If that was pressfit in there, it must have come off when the flange was hot. You'll probably have to heat the flange to get it back in. What kind of wastegate is that?

Oh, and by chance does anyone remember which hoses go where? I meant to label them but I forgot.

Yes, but that's a lot tighter fit than I've seen, that looks like a big size difference, the ring diameter is usually a little smaller.
