Default Exhaust Silencer

Hey, I have a 2k5 WRX. Recently got a helix up/dp, and an invidia catback. The catback came with a silencer, and I never tried it until today when I put it on to see how it sounded. The silencer went in the exhaust, but not far enough, and WILL NOT budge to come out. I've been trying to get it out for 3 hours to no avail. Tried everything. Anyone come across this before?

I have one for my civic and it can be a real bitch. I just take 2 vise grips on opposite sides of the silencer and wiggle it out.

Take the bolts out, and stomp it. I did it in my old supra a couple of times, it spit it right out.

Or do as Eghatchb18 said, I did that more often ..

Metal expands when its hot and contracts when its cold. You might try running the car to heat up the pipes like hookedup suggested. Just make sure it doesnt suck that shit up any more. Who woulda thought that bill nye bullshit would pay off right?
