Ok i just put an obx intake manifold on my 94 teg and now i have an idle problem. when you first start the car it starts out between 3-4000 rpms and if you snap the throttle it will drop down and begin to surge and the rpms will go from 12-1500 rpms to about 3000 rpms. The car runs fine other then this freakin crazy idle. Now for some other info i ended up changing out the oem iac with a iac from a 1st gen integra because the oem one would not bolt up to the manifold and after doing some research and some junkyard wandering i found an iac off of an 88 integra would bolt up. But now i am having this surging/high idle problem and was wondering if either anybody has dealt with this before or can point me in the right direction. give me whatever info you think may help and thanx

You changed the manifold and the IACV, and your ECU isn't properly calibrated for either.. You need to go get tuned.

I always clean them and bleed any air out of the coolant system when installing those.
