Ep3 lights problem. Dash,parking,tails

Okay so I got the common ep3 problem with the dash, parking, and Taillights going out. I've see where everyone else has had this problem, it's just either the "mini lights" fuse under the hood, or the whole combination switch itself. I've been working on this for 3 days straight after work and I'm stumped. EVERY SINGLE FUSE AND RELAY on the car is good and getting power. I've triple checked. Also my fog lights don't work, which the previous owner wired them to the parking lights. They were working perfect one night, them the next morning I went out to start my car and they didn't work. I'm pissed and stuck. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Is a bad ground a possibility?

Have you tested the combination switch?

It could be a bad ground, that's an easy thing to check.

I changed the combination switch, didn't work. My problem finding ground. With how cold it been and I go to work at 6 and get off at dark and have no garage, it's hard for me to find grounds. The only visible one is the tranny to the frame

You don't need to find the physical grounds, you need to test between the ground of the device that you suspect is bad and the chassis. If that shows a problem, then you'll need to find where it is. If that doesn't show a problem, you can move on to something else.

yes^^^^^...check the continuity to ground. youll a) need a meter and b) understand what youre testing. the fact that the fog lights tied to the parking lights issue is going on leads me to believe that maybe there is a short somewhere else.

Any chance you check the relay fuse under the steering wheel? I had a similar issue and once I replaced it everything was worked properly.
