Default electronic boost controlllers

Looking for reccomendations/opinions on EBC's. Looking for something basic and easy to use. Would prefer to keep it to $300 or less and doesn't have to be new.

EVC II, EZ, and profec B seem to be the most common, any opinions on them or any others out there?

I never liked or had any luck with GReddy Profec-B Spec II. However the original Profec-B was awesome and very user friendly. From what I heard, the 3rd gen Profec-B (Profec-B Spec II-S) is basically a combination of both... GReddy brought back the ease of function from the original profec-B.

Going into a volvo 740 turbo, hence no need for something fancy. I had been leaning towards the profec B spec II but since reading up on it I haven't heard many good things about it. Seems like the older profec b is the way to go.

I'll look into the profec B spec II s.
