I got a 93 dx sedan with 150,000 on it. The third chamber has lost compression (so a mechanic told me) and the car drives horribly. Loss of power, trouble accelerating, terrible gas mileage, are a few of the symptoms. Hit me up with suggestions. Please!

 

Oh, and the thing takes forever to heat up.

 

that motor can be found at junkyards everywhere. Get that clunker pulled and a newer one dropped in. If you cant afford all the motor swapping, then sell the car as is for somebody who will want to make a project out of it.

I don't want another piece of shit engine like the d15 I have now. I need to either fix it cheap or get a z6 or y8 head for cheap. I'm a poor college student that needs a running vehicle. Help me out people.

 

Try changing your valve guide seals.Then get new spark plugs. That problem occurs all to often in the older hondas.
