Default Ef swap question

Ok so we swapped a b17 into a 91 dx hatch, and i did the step by step wiring for dpfi to mpfi etc. Well we go to start the car and I hear the starter click but doesn't turn the motor over. I have checked the wiring over and over ( And yes wiring is correct, only 4 wires to engine bay and swapping a few at the ecu). I am thinking the starter is bad and i thought about jumping the starter to see if it is good or not. Buti was wondering if anyone else on here (mainly ef owners with dpfi to mpfi swaps) have any insight on what else i could look at or check to see what the problem is. And NO i'm not a noob to swapping motors etc, just a noob to dpfi to mpfi and ef swapping. Oh yeah the ecu is a b16 ecu. And I don't see a red light blinking when we attempt to start the car. Ask any questions To me that might help with an answer. So does it sound like a starter issue or am i overlooking something???????????????

you can do what famlyride said but you might want to check all the conections. it could even be the power cable. it might be a loose wire or it could very well be that your battery is going bad. have a parts store check your battery.

Well we hooked up the tranny ground and the car turned over and started first try. Thanks for the help, i just never thought those grounds were needed. I have one for the tranny on my car but not going to the block. Guess i should do that too.
