Re: ebay six puck clutch
d15 is that JDM VTEC or USDM non-VTEC? if it's VTEC then Centerforce dual-friction or Exedy, if it's non-vtec nothing more than OEM or Exedy.

Re: ebay six puck clutch
I'd say it depends on the brand. You can get everything from an Exedy stock replacement, to an ACT 6-puck race disc clutch on Ebay!
My recommendation, is to research the specific manufacturer, and if they appear to be quality, call them and ask the torque rating for the part in question.
After some inquiry, a B16 @ 500 hp (280 lb-ft of torque) would be overkill on a Stage3, but a Stage 2 would be marginal. You don't generally see 6-pucks until you're above a Stage4 for most manufacturers...... My last 6-puck was rated 610 lb-ft. The car it was in made 300 at the time. It actually hurt performance slightly. However, if I'd followed through on my plans, it would have needed it, as I'd have made around 450 hp, with 500+ Tq.....

Re: ebay six puck clutch
i got one of the xtd stage 3 (6 puck) grabs hard as anything, only weak point to the clutch kit is the preesure plate. its almost softer than stock for whatever reason. with a clutch that grabs hard i wish the pedal was stiffer, but for 160$ shipped i'm not complaining , this is on an b16 turbo ~270whp.
