Okay I picked up an E30 a little while ago and just getting working on it. I changed the transfer pump because the last one was toast. Now when I start it it sounded like it wasn't getting fuel and I couldn't hear the new transfer pump. I jumped the fuel pump relay and the transfer pump worked. I then tried three of my other relays and none of them made the transfer pump work. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Edit: May be the main relay. I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on one.

Just an update on the thread. It was the Main relay. Putting this here for future internet searchers.
