Dumb wire tuck question

Ok I was thinkin bout wire tucking my hatch this weekend, but if I understand correctly the main harness plugs will be located inside the car now. So if I were to pull the motor out would I just have to disconnect all the plugs and leave the harness in the car? or is there an easy way to make some kind of quick disconnect so the harness can come out still attached to the motor?

There are companies that make plugs like that but it will likely cost more than you want to pay. You can do 50 million butt connectors but it won't look nice and will take up a bunch of space. So... yea

lol, No thanks with the butt connectors. I guess I'll just wait untill I go OBD1 and get a milspec harness so its done right the first time..

just leave the engine harness ont he rear crossmember if u ever want to take the motor out, tuck the engine wiring harness so that it sits underneath teh intake manifold/rear crossmember area...
