trying to convert my 91 ef with a d16y7 do mpfi so i can slap on a y8 intake. ive read hundreds of threads and posts. just need help done\t know what ecu i can run or if i even have to change it. pretty muchjust getting confused with the more shit i read.

You need a pm6 ecu or convert to obd1. You will need a new distributor either obd1 or obd0 depending on what ecu you use.

I'm not sure how that escaped your intensive research. The ECU question is usually one of the most discussed parts of the MPFI conversion.

I concur with VtecYo. But suggest converting to obd1 and using a p28.

well i can get i chipped pm6 ecu and i know that will work but now im not sure what dizzy im going to need any ideas?
