Change AC compressor oil?
-Is there any way to change the oil without removing the compressor? I only need to remove and replace one line in the system so if I don't have to drop the compressor that would be awesome.
Ok so my high pressure line on the AC had a small leak, so until I could fix it I just kept adding r134 (only r134 without any stop leak or oil additives) and then the leak got worse so I just stopped using my AC all together. I got a new line and dryer/accumulator and plan to swap them out. I just want to know if I need to add any oil to the compressor or if I need to change it for any reason? I don't see how I would lose any oil I just want to be sure. Thanks for the help.
