My del sol window motor went out and i was wondering if you could use any eg civic window motor or if it has to be a del sol window motor. Please let me know and if anyone has one near the 757 shoot me a pm.

Aaahhh,the wonders of OEM parts sites that allow you to look up and compare part numbers.
Del Sol window motors are different parts numbers than any other 92-95 Civic(and look different in the diagram),so it appears they are different.
You can get these new for around $50 on Ebay.Might as well go that route instead of putting another used motor in.Also,are you sure it's the motor?Have you applied voltage directly to the motor to rule out any other issues?

i hadnt applied voltage i just know its not the fuse and it makes no noise...when my track went out the motor still made noise...i will try giving it direct voltage though to make sure...Thanks

just like a starter tap the window motor while holding the button to see if it will unjam the motor if it is jammed.

That's because it doesn't really work for anything but starter motors. The part of a starter motor that usually gets stuck is not the rotating assembly, it's the linear engagement section. A window motor doesn't have one of those, not having the same function and all.

worked for me its still a motor and still gets jammed

If your window motor gets jammed and you un-jam it by whacking it with a hammer, you need a new window motor.

yeah im gunna give it a try to see if it works or not but that will just be my temporary fix till i can find one but i have had no luck so i may be just buying a new one
