Default dc teg problems

So, in advadnce i appreciate any help that you can give me. This is becoming an annoying problem. I have a 94 integra ls automatic. The problem is that for instance as i left off the gas for a minute to slow down for say a red light and it turns green, and i get on the gas again the rpm jump like the car was in neutral. Now my obvious assumption was the torque converter, but if i'm accelerating, and floor it, it hooks up just fine. I'm not for sure what it is, so if someone can shed some light on some things i should check, i'de appreciate it. thanks

automatic transmissions have like 5 seperate clutches in them, there is a possibilty that any one clutch or all could be on there way out. I had a similar problem in my accord, a couple months after it started I was replacing the tranny. If its an unserviced transmisstion from 94, I would say your looking at a rebuild (expensive and painstaking) or just replacing it with a used one.
good luck

You could be low on tranny fluid also. I had an auto once that would do that, turned out that I was low on tranny fluid.

I work at Honda and I've seen BG tranny flushes work miracles. I'd recommend it to anyone.
