Default D16y8 turbo kit inquiry

I have a 1996 Honda Civic and I'm installing a custom IHI turbo kit assembled for a D15 previously. The wastegate actuator is physically in the way and hits the AC bracket which doubles as the motor mount. The AC compressor is already removed. The easiest way to solve this problem would be to install a spacer between the head and the manifold. Does anyone know if such a spacer exists, or would I have to have one custom manufactured. Also, the AC bracket has 4 bolt mounts to the block, one of them can be removed and the Wastegate actuator will fit. Is this safe? Anyone done this before. Thanks for you help.

the easiest way to do this is to remove the wastegate actuator and weld the wastegate flapper door shut, then get someone to weld an external WG flange on the manifold....and no im not joking...

it was a d16y7 in a 98 ek
I had to cut a square out were it hits
so you will only have 3 bolts for the ac bracket

unscrew the map sensor
put a pice of vac. hose on it with a ziptie so it doesnot fall off
stick that little plastic white tube thingy into the TB
put a little superglue or somthing like that to hold it then connect the check valves in the tube from the TB into the map sensor.
hope this helps

What codes did you throw when you ran the kit, just O2?
