Default d16 oil pump
i have a d16y8 and i keep hearing that if i want to run like 20lbs of boost im going to need a better oil pump can anyone expand on this and give me any suggestions

i live in chesapeake area does anyone know of any decent but not to expensive machine shops that will do block and head work

You should at least get the pump shimmed and ported would be better.

Shim and port the OEM one. Do not shell out the money for a TODA oil pump, they are garbage.

I've been runnin 20 psi on my stock one...havent had a prob yet. Stock puts out 80 lbs of pressure that should be plenty.
