Default d15z1 in d15b6 motor

so im pretty new to the swapping and rebuild scene and i have a couple questions.sorry if they are stupid ones. 1) can i just straight up swap out my pistons in my d15b6 motor for d15z1 pistons without doing anything else?from what i have researched they have the same bore and stroke. just a higher compression, which im trying to do so i can get more hp. 2)if i run higher compression, what do i have to do to make sure everything is in working order so i dont blow the motor .any help would be great. Thanks!

I don't know how much compression you'd gain from Z1 pistons, but I doubt it's enough to really matter.
If you want higher compression, get D16A1 pistons. You'll be at atleast 12.0:1.

Once you're at that high of a compression ratio, you need to get your ECU chipped and tuned specifically for the setup before you ever start the motor.
