Default d15b2 turbo?

I have a d15b2 in a hatch. 150k on it. Think it'll last if i change it from dpfi to mpfi with a d16 head and turbo it with 5 to 8lbs max on a small turbo?

friend of mine has everything i need for the ls swap except the tranny and ecu. all i really want is a turbo car tho...and im thinking it'd be cheaper to turbo what i've got with the new head than it would be to do all the work to swap the motor and then turbo it... just worried about it popping since it's gonna be my daily.

your a fucking idiot. "fuck them b series they nothin"? shut up you illiterate fan boy. For the money, reliability, etc, a b series is a WAY better way to go. for the money you put into a built d series, your going to get around the same power out of a mildly built b series. get off your d series high horse and smell the fucking flowers. OP, save your money and drive your car the way it is. Then, when you can afford it, buy a b series swap, and boost that. its a way better platform to build off of. if you go and boost that D you have in it, its gonna blow. and if you get a d16z6, it will run great boosted, but your gonna get bored with it, start pushing it, and blow that also. D series motors run great on boost, but not for long. unless you build the motor. and even then, the money would be better spent on a b series.
