Default crx harness help

i have a 89 crx base model with a b16a2 with a jdm intake manifold and jdm harness.
i dont know if i need to get a conversion harness for obd0 to obd1, or obd0 to obd2b.and idk if i should get an USDM or JDM ecu.
also i want to run hondata in the future and i heard that i should do obd1 but idk if it was true.

Um with a crx you have no choice but to get a jdm ecu if you stay obd0, obd1 has tuning capabilities that obd0 doesn't have. Your best bet is to just convert to obd1. Google is your friend or honda -tech. Jdm harness is no good for you unless your rhd and wtf is a jdm intake? But either way take it to a shop tell them to swap the b16 in for you and convert to obd1. If you dont know how to do a dpfi to mpfi wire harness then dont even attempt to do the obd0 to obd1 shit. Good luck with whatever you do.

not only use the boomslang ecu harness use the distributor harness as well. If you have a b16a2 it is obd-1 and probably has a hydro trans on it. If that is the case you are also going to need to get the conversion for that. Not only that the half shaft for the a2's are different from a 1st gen b16 that came in the jdm crx so you may have to use an axle from a delsol. The swap is fairly easy I did mine when I was in high school back in 2002. If you need a shopping list for parts hasport is a huge help on what to buy. If you need any help pm me I'll give as much help as I can. Don't listen to these other guys, work on your own car and do it yourself taking it to a shop is for people that are scared to work on their own cars. Then you can also say you did all the work when someone ask and know exactly what has been done to it.
