crx drum to disc conversion
I am going to do a drum to disc conversion on the rear brake setup of my crx. I was wondering what all was needed to do it if im just going to use the rear disc out of a 91 si? I think its just all bolt for bolt but want to be sure. thanx in advance!

What you'll need...
The complete Trailing Arm (the larger arm that holds the brake assemby)
The Emergency Brack Cables
What you'll not need...meaning you will use the ones you have...
The LCA (lower control arm)
The Compensator arm (the small link attached to the front of the Trailing Arm)
The UCA (Upper Control Arm, the small link that sits above the brake assemby)
Now it's been 10 years since I did mine so I can't remember if the brake lines are different because I ordered and switched over to 90-91 steel braided lines at the same time I did the brake swap.
Hope this clears things up a bit, because without listing every nut & bolt etc...this is the best I can think of.

i think your gonna need a brake booster as well for the back brakes to work correct me if im wrong but i ws looking into this for a while for my hatch as well as new brake lines to run to the back . i know where a complete rear conversion is if you want it ...

I know from my own expirence that my 88 Si brake system fantastic with the DA front and rear brakes setup for years before I finally got around to upgrading to the Integra's Master Cylinder, Brake Booster and Distribution Valves.

Although the 90-91 Si's do have different parts numbers for their Master Cylinder, Brake Booster and Distribution Valve from the non-rear dics brake models...you do not have to change all that to make it work correctly.
I know from my own expirence that my 88 Si brake system fantastic with the DA front and rear brakes setup for years before I finally got around to upgrading to the Integra's Master Cylinder, Brake Booster and Distribution Valves.

If im gonna do it, i wanna do it the right way the first time. Is there a Brake Booster and Distribution Valve that will work best or will just any integra work the same? One off of a 4 door would work better right, due to the heavier weight it has to stop? I also want to convert over to steel braided brake lines to hold the pressure and get a better braking response. Looking to make the car stop on a dime and not just lock and slide. So is it possible to convert to anti-locking?
