Default CRV suspension on a CRX

Just wondering if a CRV rear suspension can replace the rear suspension on a CRX. And IS the CRV transfer case part of the transaxle or a seperate unit?

I've always wanted to make a rear drive or AWD car, and the CRV suspension would be a cool place to start. A little suspension mount fabrication, some custom axles, etc... Yeah, I'm nuts. =)

just get some good slicks and rock the FWD if you plan on making alot of power ..... the money your talking to have an awd crx is insane .... just stick with the FWD... if you want AWD buy an AWD vehicle.

I'd just prefer to stick move my B16 to the trunk of my sol and start from there, ala Top Fuel's 550HP rear engine del sol...
