code 23 (knock sensor)
 
defective/unpugged knock sensor. what do i need to do? if bad, how much do they run? b18c.

Check that you have continuity from one end of the wire to the other, i.e. there isn't a break in the wire or the connector is unplugged... Do everything you can before you commit to buy a new one..

mine cost like $100...i bought it through honda...somehow we broke/lost it in the swapping process..yea it blows.

At least your car blinks the CELs..mine doesn't.

my obd1 needs a jumper (dont know if obd2 is like that) but obd2 has a port under the dash so places can hook up the little box.

Just out of curiosity, if you are running a high lift loaping camshaft, this will cause a sensitive knock sensor to retard timing and throw a code, etc.

where did you get your motor from?
