If the 703 in your name is in fact your area code, I don't mind helping ya do it. I'm in manassas Park. If not, the main ignition wires are normally pig tail'd and soldered. This method involves trimming back a small portion of the factory wire's shielding to expose the wire, piercing it through the center with a punch of some sort, inserting a stripped section of the wire from the alarm, then twisted around the factory wire exposed tightly then soldered and covered with electrical tape or heat shrink (heat shrink if de-pinning the plug end). Almost all connections are best done this way aside from the starter which you will actually cut the factory wire and then solder it to the 2 starter kill wires from the alarm (or relay if the alarm has a single starter kill wire *(-)output while armed*) Using T-taps and the such can lead to problems down the road and make it a MUCH messier install.

if you dont understand this part you probably should not be installing an alarm yourself. there are multiple wires that are the same color in a car that do different things, if you dont test properly you can do serious damage to your electrical system.. I am located in the NOVA area and have been doing alarm/rem.starts on the daily for the past 10 years.. if you want to pay me to do it then let me know

You should be able to read the included schematics and figure it out...?

I love when people say things like this.. its like me saying I can climb a ladder so I must be able to fly.. as I stated before, if you cant figure out wether to splice or cut a wire you shouldnt be doing it.
